My Freaky Dreams and Premonitions

My grandfather often comes to see me in my dreams and so does my
grandmother as well. It's not really surprising that my Grandparent's
although they are dead visit me in my dreams as I was brought up by
my mother and her parents, Gran and Grandad.They just appear and
haven't actually said anything to me. Although when they do appear
they seem to be younger.

I asked my mother if she dreams of Gran and she said yes quite a bit,
she also said they appear younger, but unlike me, they say things to
her.

My grandfather died a long time before my grandmother did. A couple
of years after he passed away, and I was living with my Grandmother
and mother while I was a University student .For some unknown
reason, just as I was going to sleep, I heard that song in my head;
Grandad , de da da da, Grandad , de da da da , we love you......., well
anyway that night I had a dream of him. When I woke up and went to
the kitchen for breakfast the next morning, mum told me she had a
dream of Grandad last night , then Gran said she did too, I said I did
as well ! Coincidence ? By the way I don't actually believe in
coincidences and I believe Grandad actually did come and visit us all
that night in our dreams.

20 years or so ago I had a dream of my other grandmother, my
father's mother. In my dream I was at the shops, that I used to go to
up the road from her place when I was a child. I was at the shops and
my Nana, as I called her, was also there, she told me that the past,
present and future are all one.

I have had horses from being six years old up until I was into my 20s.
The last horse I had was called Ra, and I had had him for 10 years or
so (Ra is the name of the Sun God in both Maori and Ancient
Egyptian) Anyway, for years my horse Ra would come and see me in
my dreams many many times, so many times I cannot count . In my
dreams, Ra and the other horses I was with would actually talk to me
in my dreams, not telepathically but just how I talk to other people.
Anyway, a few years ago, one night I dreamt I was with a group of
horses and one of them said to me, Ra doesn't want to see you again.
And since that night I have never dreamt of my horse Ra again.

When I was 16 years old, my best friend's boyfriend went up to
Auckland which is the largest city in New Zealand. He was stabbed to
death at a party. Shortly after he died, he came to me while I was
dreaming and he told me he was only coming to see me once ( and
funny enough he did) he told me that when you die, you just see a big
bright white light.

I went to London when I was 21 years old, and although I used to live
in England as a child, we never went to London. When I was 21 years
old and went to London and visited Hyde Park, I freaked out a bit
when I saw for the first time these pools. I had dreamt of these
rectangle pools in Hyde Park several times before I went to London.

I think that I must have travelled to Hyde Park in my sleep, astral
travelled there. Maori believed that the soul leaves the body during
sleep , i.e astral travel.

"Or ever the silver cord be loosened, or the golden bowl be broken at The
fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.Then shall the dust return to the
earth as it was and the spirit Shall return unto God who gave it ".
King James version Ecclesiastes 12:6-7

The above Biblical reference to the silver cord (actually an energy
band) which binds the soul and physical body together, very similar
to an umbilical cord.When the physical body dies, this silver cord
becomes permanently detached from the body.

Maori priests could heal a very sick person by astraly projecting
leaving their own body and entering the body of the sick person.

When I was at high school and lived in Rotorua, I had repetative
dreams of airplanes taking off and landing on Fenton Street. Fenton
Street is a very very long street and where most of the hotels and
motels are situated. I had these airplane dreams for quite some time,
then one day, I went to the museum as part of a school trip and I
discovered that Fenton street used to be the old landing strip for
the airport before the town expanded. I never had those dreams
since I discovered this fact.

When I was 17 or 18 years old, I moved from Rotorua up to
Auckland to live. I used to go back down to Rotorua for the
weekends quite often. When I was 18 years old I had reoccurring
dreams of ski lifts on Mt Ngongotaha . At the time my dream did not
make any sense at all. Why on earth would there be ski lifts in
Rotorua? New Zealand is a sub-tropical climate and Rotorua
doesn't even get snow, although it gets frosts in winter.

I had these repeating dreams many many times for a few
years.Then one weekend I was driving to Rotorua from Auckland,
and just as I was coming into the township, to my surprise I saw ski
lifts on the mountain exactly how I had seen them in my dreams !!

Today I refuse to go on those gondolas. Maybe the reason I had the
ski lift dreams was because my best friend's father had a very bad
work accident and ended up in intensive care. He used to work on
the ski lifts maintaining them. One day he was at work in the tractor
towing a cable when the brakes on the tractor failed as he was
driving down the mountain and the tractor rolled over him.
